Kelly M. Hurt joined Easley & Marquis in 2004 right out of law school. She has quickly become an invaluable asset to the firm and was recently named Partner. Kelly often works with Sharon Easley on large-asset or highly contested cases. Sharon and Lisa rely on Kelly’s perspective and have confidence in Kelly’s ability to successfully handle matters with clients, judges, juries and opposing counsel.

Clients appreciate Kelly’s diligent and efficient handling of their cases. Kelly is very effective at settling contested cases, but she also thrives in the court room.

Kelly has built a strong courtroom relationship with area judges, and is often appointed as amicus attorney or attorney ad litem to advocate the best interests of children.

Kelly’s professional associations include the Collin County Bar Association, Plano Bar Association, Collin County Young Lawyers Association.

Kelly M. Hurt grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. In 2001 she graduated from Texas A&M University, magna cum laude with a BA in Business Administration and Management. Kelly earned her Juris Doctorate in May 2004, from Texas Tech University School of Law. Kelly and her husband live in Dallas.
