Casey worked in a variety of departments as a prosecutor and an intern with the Tarrant and Denton County District Attorney’s Offices including the Crimes Against Children, Juvenile and Family Violence units. With experience in more than 40 jury trials, she is prepared to take your case to a jury if justice requires.

Casey has presented more than 900 felony cases to the grand jury, and has worked with local police agencies to investigate and prepare cases for grand jury presentation. Casey has conducted punishment hearings, motions to suppress, bench trials and probation revocation hearings.

Casey grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. She earned a BS in Education from the University of North Texas and taught school in Plano and Richardson before beginning law school. During law school, Casey worked as a family law intern at Easley & Marquis and a criminal law intern at the Denton County District Attorney’s Office. Casey earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University in 2003. Casey left her position as an Assistant District Attorney with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s office in March 2008 to join Easley & Marquis. Casey and her husband are looking forward to starting their family in her hometown.
