Visitation Issues

The Texas Legislature has enacted what attorneys call a Standard Possession Order. While some divorcing parents agree to a different schedule, judges typically rule that the parent with whom the children will not be primarily living may have the children according to the Standard Possession Order. The primary consideration in deciding possession schedules, however, is the best interest of the child.

The attorneys at Easley & Marquis are very knowledgeable about the factors a judge will consider when trying to determine the best interest of a child. We are practiced at developing and presenting evidence in court so the judge can make the best decision for your family.
