Couples age 20 to 24 have the highest divorce rate and those between 35 and 39 have the lowest. First marriages have a 50 percent chance of ending in divorce, second marriages a 67 percent chance and third marriages a 74 percent chance. Whatever the circumstances, divorce can be devastating for a family.
