Compassionate and Personalized Representation

At Easley & Marquis, we tailor a team and an approach that is right for you.   Some clients need a strong negotiator or an aggressive trial lawyer to fight for their best interest or the best interest of their children.  Other clients have already reached agreements before coming to see one of our family lawyers.  Those clients may need our representation only to ensure their rights are being protected or they are getting what they are entitled to receive through the divorce process.  Regardless of what you need, our family lawyers are trained to provide competent legal representation while showing compassion and concern for clients and their children during what is often the most stressful time in their lives.  Whether your family law situation is contested or you desire a collaborative approach, our team of family lawyers have varying strengths, skills and experience to suit your case.

Family Lawyers Putting the Best Interest of Children First

As mothers, Founding Partners Sharon Easley and Lisa Marquis understand the importance to their clients of putting the best interest of their children first. With more than 40 years of experience between them, Sharon and Lisa know that family law issues can often be devastating to the children of divorce, as well as the parents.  Making sure that the best interest of children is at the forefront during the divorce process has been the primary focus of their partnership as family lawyers since the firm’s formation in 1997.  When children are involved, Sharon and Lisa train their family lawyers and staff to guide their clients so that the primary focus is on the best interest of their children, while at the same time aimed at protecting the rights of the client.
